Woodtech works with a local wood supplier that has a contract with the state of California for old growth trees that naturally fall in state and national parks. They use that waste stream wood in some products made at Woodtech’s state-of-the-art production plant in Oakland, California.
When not using waste stream raw materials, Woodtech is one of the few furniture manufacturers to predominantly use Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)-certified wood which originates from sources that are sustainable and renewed.
