I am a quadriptych art piece
Inspired by the “Summer of Love” phenomenon, this is an art journey to explore musicians whose style and music was influenced by this social movement.
The idea of abstract art and free-spirited form resonated with us. We wanted to create something unique, quirky, and eccentric to speak to the viewpoint and time of this development.
The idea of love shouldn’t be a solo play; hence, we created an art piece in (4) abstract composition using discarded fabrics and found frames to capture the musician’s significance to the “Summer of Love”. The musicians, Jimi Hendrix, Deee-Lite, Lady Gaga, and Harry Styles’ music contribution and their styles echo the love, groove, and soul of this time.
